*To generate a new account for posting appointments to the calendar, press the "Register for Account" button in the frame to your left, and fill in the appropriate information. This will create a new account with the default security level of "User." Once you have registered, you will be notified by e-mail when your account has been activated and you will then be allowed to post appointments to the calendar. Activation is not instant, therefore, you will need to keep checking your mail periodically for the activation confirmation e-mail message. If you entered an invalid e-mail address, you will not receive notification of your account activation, delaying your calendar authorization.
You should make a record of your appointments by writing down the teacher and time, or search the database using your name as the keyword, provided you have placed your name in the body text of the appointment(s) you have posted.
Important:
In
order to avoid conflicts in the schedule, please
make sure you view each instructor's appointments for that day by refreshing
the calendar on the left. Select that teacher's name and set the month to April and
year to 2009, then
click "Refresh
Calendar." Click
on the "3" in April
on the calendar to view that teacher's appointments and select an open
time slot before posting your appointment to the calendar. If you refresh
the calendar for a particular teacher and the "3" does
not show a number in parentheses below it, then that teacher has yet
to have any appointments booked, and all time slots
are still available.
*Make sure you write down the user name and password you selected when signing up for the service as password information cannot be retrieved.
Since all appointments should be for 3 April 2009, make sure you select the correct date, time, and teacher before adding your appointment. Appointments should only be scheduled between 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. This script is free and as such is limited in its scope. However, it is our belief that this feature greatly reduces wait times and makes the process much more manageable.
