Athletics Mission Statement

The Bishop Dunne Athletic Department is committed to creating a nurturing environment filled with mutual respect and unity for all students, and strives to instill Christian values while encouraging the spiritual, intellectual, social, physical, and emotional development of our scholar athlete. The Athletic Department believes that athletics is an integral part of the school's educational program since it provides experiences that will help young people to grow spiritually, physically, mentally, and emotionally. Our goal is to educate our Scholar in the importance of teamwork and self commitment. Our desire is to see his or her hard work and commitment on the field or court transferred to the classroom. The members of the Athletic Department strive for collaboration and communication so that coaches and SCHOLAR ATHLETES can support and encourage one another to fulfill their potential.
