If you have additional questions or would simply prefer to speak with me in person, please do not hesitate to call me at 214-339-6561 ext. 230.

It is truly an exciting time at Bishop Dunne. The past year has seen many amazing successes including: an exemplary accreditation rating from SACS, a State Championship in Art (our third), a Robotics Championship, a Distinguished Teacher of the Year Award winner, several Award of the Heart winners, our first ever Winston Science Fair Champion and a Best Buy Award for our continued excellence in technology, just to name a few. With this success comes our continued growth. This August we began the school year with 663 students, our second largest enrollment in recent memory. The middle school has reached an all time high of 161 students.

Bishop Dunne tailors its education to fit the individual needs of each student. We realize that students have different gifts and abilities based on their experiences and aptitudes. By matching the appropriate instructional strategies and support systems with the unique learning needs of each student in a college preparatory environment, we inspire all students to raise their expectations for academic achievement. For the last 8 years, 100 percent of Dunne's graduating class has been accepted to college. The last 2 graduating classes have earned over $7 million in scholarship funds. Scholarships were earned in the areas of academics, athletics, community service, and fine arts.

Applications for 2008-2009 are now being accepted. Families may print out the application forms and return via mail or use our new interactive online application. The application fee for 2008-2009 is $75. Applicants are also required to register and take the ISEE entrance exam and may register at www.ISEEtest.org.

At Bishop Dunne we believe the best way for families to learn more about the unique and exemplary rated education we offer is to visit in person and see our students and faculty in action. We welcome both individual tours and shadow visits and encourage you to come during school hours. Tours and visits are conducted daily throughout the academic year by appointment. Families wishing to set up an individual tour or visit may do so by calling the office directly or by sending an email to rmullin@bdhs.org.

Thanks again for your interest in Bishop Dunne Catholic School. I look forward to working with you during the upcoming year.

Sincerely,
